Wandering thoughts 6
Bit over a week from last post. 25th day of HRT, laser, convention and drinking.
So, it's been bit over three weeks from the start of HRT. Spironolactones dosage was raised to 75 mg on thursday and I saw my occupational doctor on wednesday, and I'm going to see neurologist on next wednesday. When I told to my "own doctor" about how I have felt, she measured my blood pressure, 112/76, and told me that if it takes long to get appointment for neurologist, I can take only half tablet of orloc, my migraine med which is interfering with spironolactone. Well, I tried thursday and thought that yeah, I'm gonna eat only 2,5mg of orloc starting from now. And my feeling got better. I'm not sure about migraine, my auras has been bit on-off lately, at some point there is lots of them, at other none. But, I think the whole migraine inhibitor mixture needs tuning, so.. Well, I will hear on wednesday what the neurologist says.
My hands has been shakier again for some reason. It might have something to do with the dosage changes, or most likely is caused by that, but it doesn't cause any problems like spilling coffee or similar. I have felt more warm as well. But my hands are cold despite of that. So I'm not sure what I should think about that. I'm just hoping that my testosterone levels has gone so low that some real action is starting to happen. As it is pointless to have additional estrogen if there is still too much testosterone to keep things how they have been. I have noticed that my bras sit bit differently on me so my boobs might have grown very slightly, or changed shape or something. It feels that bras are sitting now how they should sit, I needed to tighten the shoulder straps, as they were about as loose as they were able to be. Now they are more like how woman would keep them.
I got hit to the face with laser on wednesday as well. My beard started to grow like week ago again so perfect timing. And it hurt way less, which wasn't surprise. Less hair, less burning laser inside skin, less pain. Although upper lip was still quite hurtful but still less than last time. Which is good, as the first time was horrible. This was very much bearable. And I got at least one time before summer, in May. I hope even less hair will grow by then. Or close to none to be exact.
This weekend was Tampere Kuplii convention, which was mostly cartoon convention, but as manga is one kind of cartoon, there was lots of people who attends other anime conventions and there was cosplay competition for example. Our photography service was there as well and I took some ~170 pictures during the weekend in studio. It was bit hidden at a dead end so not lot of people found there. But in the other hand, there was more time to spend with one group of cosplayers (containing anything between one to twenty cosplayers) so we got more poses and got enough time to refine them. Especially with bigger groups there is always bit hassle when everyone takes the pose and after taking picture to check that everyone got eyes open and so. It was good opportunity to try new things from photographer perspective and some of those were spot on and looked amazingly good to be taken by me. High five with my assistant, who was directing the subjects!
On saturday evening we went to Moro Sky Bar, which was next to venue, and had some drinks. There was something like 15 of us in total, before people started to scatter. I drank quite a much to be honest, something like 8-9 restaurant dosages if I didn't calculate wrongly. I didn't felt being that drunk at all. It was like alcohol wasn't working the way it should. Yeah, I was drunk but it felt way less than before. It was strange. And the drunkness still doesn't have that euphoric edge, which I miss very much. It's actually quite interesting to see how differently alcohol affects me during the medication change. As it has been in constant change between the times I have been drunk. I hope I will get the euphoric edge back some day.
And now some sleep, workday tomorrow!
