Start of HRT: Day 1
I'm writing up some of my feeling and such in the start HRT for later reference because of my migraine and potassium and so.
So, after going to blood tests 7:45 in the morning (5 tubes of blood -_-), I took the patch and sticked it to the lower stomach according to instructions, which were easy enough. After that some breakfast and the anti-androgen. I'm not sure how fast the patch should give first impressions, but I got them in like 10 minutes or so. I thought it was because of food, but I'm still having the same feeling, so it must be caused by the patch. It's like being little bit hyper but not much. Or tipsy. Head feels light. The sensation is very much like which I had last july (#2), just very much milder.
The patch itself is very small and translucent, about a little finger nail sized. It feels funny, like constant little tingling. And I'm nervous that it stays in place. I notice now that the placement isn't very good, but, it will get changed on monday so, oh well. I'm hoping it will hang there for now.
Now, 12 hours later, the feeling which I got completely in about half an hour, hasn't gone anywhere. Maybe momentarily if I'm stationary at computer for a good while but it will come back after I take couple steps. I haven't noticed any other symptoms than light tipsiness, yet. But, first day, and we are talking about hormones. I'm surprised that first symptoms came even that fast that they did. I also noticed that my resting heart rate is bit elevated, it's normally 60-65, but it has been around 70-80. I'm monitoring it constantly with smart watch so that was rather easy to notice. That might explain part of the feeling I'm having in my head. I'm having lots of auras in my vision, so my migraine is acting. Let's see what I feel tomorrow morning.
The anti-androgen is actually diuretic medicine (":D"), but I haven't noticed any difference, yet. That might take couple of days to ramp up as well. But it might have caused the elevation of heart rate. And if it is compatible enough with orloc with my metabolism, it should take couple of days for me to adjust.
More tomorrow!
