SRS: ~11 weeks after surgery
Ok, enough to write to post has happened again.
I saw my neurologists bit over a week ago, on wednesday. She was surprised that my migraine situation has gotten much better now. I told her that I would like to get rid of Noritren and maybe get Orloc back as it worked so well in the past. After chatting a little bit about the surgery and migraine situation, we talked quite a long time about my sleep. And I understand now why. Noritren was left out, and I can really feel the withdrawal symptoms. The most interesting one is - sleeping. I haven't got any migraines and I have a feeling that that might be tied to hormonal cycle now, if I get migraine between 11th and 24th, then it will be hormonal cycle migraine, it has been bit too consistent to that.
So, sleep. I have slept a hecking lot. Like a cat actually. Almost right after the med was left out, I went to sleep in normal time, around 23 as I was rather tired. But, I slept only 6 hours, waking up refreshed! Refreshed!! But it was still night (5 in the morning), so I rolled around in my bed for two hours or so before getting up and have a breakfast. After eating and drinking my coffee, I was stuck to talk with my friends who were waking up as well but started to feel little tired, around 10, after being awake for 5 hours. So, I though, yeah, I slept only 6 hours, now would be good time to take a nap before getting ready for the new year parties in the evening, which started at 18. Didn't put alarm as I assumed I won't be napping for long. Guess what, I napped for 8 hours! So woke up when the parties started. Sent message that hey, I'm late as I just woke up, gonna be there asap. Weren't too late and it was a great party. When I got back home around 3, I was already exhausted, after being awake for 9 hours so got ready to go to sleep and was between the sheets at 4. Slept hecking ~12 hours, waking up at 16. So, as I took last Noritren around 2 in the night of 30th and slept only one hour before waking up to see the doc, I was awake during 30th and 1st for about 32h, and asleep for about 27h. That ratio isn't exactly normal. OK, that is only ~2.5 days but anyway. I have slept 3-6 hour naps every day in addition to 7-10 hour proper sleep everyday. That's so freaking much. But I wake up refreshed every freaking time! So I have a feeling that my brain is actually able to recover and not have some half-sleep shit it has had for years. But, apparently I'm human cat, now confirmed. 🐈
Other things Noritren did was raise the pain threshold, which was the actual reason why I had it. It's side effect was that it also dampened tactile feel. So I have had much more sensations in my pussy area now. Some stings every now and then, but also the general tactile feel is slightly better overall, especially in clit. Enough that I was finally able to get proper orgasm today with vibe. It wasn't that mind-blowing my orgasms used to be but it was proper orgasm nevertheless. I blame the still-impaired-but-better-than-before tactile feel for that. And for being able to get orgasms now, everything more is just bonus. Though I do wish that the tactile feel and especially finer feelings would become back. The only feelings I still got in every other point than clit is feelings of pressure. No hot or cold, light touch, anything. Just pressure and little bit more on clit, enough for the reptilian complex to give me some long-waited oxytocin.
I had noritren for so long that it should only now be pretty much completely out from my system (it's elimination half-time is 18-44 hours, one source said even 90 hours, so, up to 180 hours to be completely gone, which is 7.5 days. Remember that body eliminates it at fixed rate). Now I just have to bear the rest of the withdrawal symptoms and hope I won't get any migraines without it. But the lamotrigin were left to 150+150mg and I didn't get orloc, so, time will tell. My attacks were already the like that even while they last for 2-3 days, they can go past without attack meds, though they always come in pairs, first in one side, then to the other. And like I said, bit too regularly lately to be something else than "period migraine". I need to monitor that to figure it out, the hormonal pause messed up lot of things and my body is only just now getting back to speed with the hormones.
Wow, long post. I'm also getting tired again 😴. Hey, I have been awake for 8 hours! 😝 I will write again when I have something to write about, the checkup is still one month away.
'Til next time~ 💜
